HMD Secure continues its rapid expansion with the compact, rugged new HMD Terra M

Published on

HMD Secure was created to deliver trusted, resilient and sovereign mobility for the organisations who depend on it most, including governments, defence forces, public safety agencies, enterprise fleets and critical infrastructure operators. Earlier this year, we introduced HMD Ivalo XE, our first rugged smartphone designed, engineered, and manufactured in Europe, a major milestone in our mission to provide secure, mission-critical technology to these sectors.

Today, we are building on that momentum with the launch of HMD Terra M, a compact, ultra-rugged smart feature phone engineered for instant, reliable communication in tough conditions. HMD Terra M will be available in Q1 2026.

Designed for extreme environments, HMD Terra M pairs military-grade durability¹ with instant communication tools that keep teams connected, responsive and protected. With a tough 2.8-inch glove-friendly touchscreen, programmable Push-to-Talk and emergency keys, a high-output loudspeaker and enterprise-ready software, it delivers frictionless interaction at the push of a button.

“HMD Secure is redefining what trusted mobility means for the organisations that protect, build and connect our societies. With HMD Ivalo XE and now HMD Terra M, we are accelerating our vision with a fast-growing portfolio of secure, resilient and sovereign devices. This is a powerful step forward in establishing HMD Secure as a new force in mission-critical mobility.” — Jean-François Baril, Founder, CEO and Chairman, HMD
