HMD Terra M is designed as a ready-to-deploy, fully managed communication solution for mission-critical operations. It brings together rugged hardware, managed connectivity, secure applications and enterprise control into a single, scalable ecosystem delivered through trusted partners.

Terra M combines low-cost IoT SIM and eSIM connectivity with professional Push-to-Talk over cellular, secure communications and device management, enabling organisations to deploy quickly while maintaining full operational control.

Managed connectivity

Connectivity plans are available from Lyfo, delivering resilient service through intelligent network switching across carriers to ensure reliable coverage across borders and in remote or high-risk environments.

Mobile Device Management

Terra M supports enterprise-grade Mobile Device Management for secure fleet control, streamlined deployment and policy enforcement. Customers can deploy Terra M with MDM solutions from Springdel and SOTI, with new partners to be announced shortly, enabling centralised provisioning, monitoring and lifecycle management at scale.

Push-to-Talk and frontline communications

For instant, mission-critical voice communications, Terra M integrates Push-to-Talk services from Zello and Mobile Tornado, supporting secure, interoperable group communications with dedicated programmable and emergency hardware keys.

Secure enterprise applications

To extend functionality beyond voice, Terra M comes ready to support trusted enterprise applications focused on privacy, security and operational efficiency:

  • Threema enables confidential messaging and voice communications with strong end-to-end encryption, available in both Threema Work and Threema OnPrem deployments.
  • Joplin provides secure note-taking and knowledge management for operational documentation and field reporting, supporting both offline and cloud-based workflows.
  • OsmAnd delivers privacy-first online and offline navigation for teams operating in disconnected or restricted environments.
